From the Elegant to the Offbeat, We Offer a Mexican Wedding to Remember…
There's the usual … and just about anybody can do that.
Then there's the unusual … that's where we come in!
Your wedding on the Turquoise Reef at one of our unique and charming beach front resorts will provide a very special experience. And, once registered with the U.S. consulate, it's very legal.
Savings? … well, you won't have to "go away" after the wedding 'cuz you'll already be on the Mayan Riviera - one of the world's most popular honeymoon sites!
For a Legal Mexican Wedding,
You'll Need to Bring These Things With You -
- A valid passport (if you are non-US citizen, a VISA for Mexico if such is required-check with the Mexican consul)
- Your copy of the tourist visa that you'll receive on your arrival flight.
- Divorce papers (if this applies!)
- If you don't have a passport, we suggest you get one. Otherwise, a copy of your birth certificate translated into Spanish by an official translator and then certified by your nearest Mexican Consulate (about $75.00).
Things You'll Need to do after arrival in Mexico -
- Fill out the license application
- A medical exam/blood test
- Meet the judge
- Perform the wedding ceremony
- Have 4 witnesses sign the certificate (If they are U.S. citizens, they'll need passports and their tourist visas too) If you don't plan to have enough witnesses travelling with you, we can find some for you!
- Register the marriage with the U.S. Consulate in Mexico.
Or, many of our guests choose to have the legal part done in the US and simply have a symbolic ceremony on the beach in Mexico
