This little jewel of beach club is a must when visiting Tulum. Every room is immaculate and artfully decorated suggesting romantic tales through time. From your room follow the soft white sand paths for about 20 feet to the beach resturant. We ordered a hamburger and a variety of local appetizers, all of which were delicious. We especially like the vodka Margaritas. We were fortunate to meet two of the owners, Ivo and Tony that day. They took the time to give us the grand tour of their beautiful beachclub. We were there on a fabulous sunny afternoon and were able to enjoy our drinks while lounging on "queen" sized cushions on the beach. The bar/lounge is 2 stories with an unobstructed view, which I'm sure rocks on the weekends. The beachclub is very easy to get to now that the roads are newly surfaced. It's a very beautiful drive along the sea.

Tulum pueblo is located along route 307 on the Riviera Maya, between Playa del Carmen to the north and Chetumal to the south. If you rent a car from the Cancun airport, go south along Route 307 all the way to Tulum. At the intersection with San Francisco de Asis grocery store on your right, turn left and follow the road east toward the beach. It will veer to the right, and keep following the beach road for about four more kilometers. Playa Azul will be on the left, just after Puerta del Cielo.
