Hotel Directions
You will take Highway 307 south from the airport towards Playa del Carmen. Once you get into town, approximately 45 minutes, you will turn left on Avenida Constituyentes and then continue 10 blocks until you get to 1st Avenue, where you take a right. Then continue on 1st Avenue for 4 blocks until you get to 12th Street and take a left. I stayed at Om Playa the first week of October for 4 nites and really fell in love with the ambiance and intrancing decor of the hotel. What a great vibe ! The lighting, candles, music, staff, all make this hotel my first choice to stay in Playa. I like the location because its near the beach, and close to all the action of Playa. I have stayed at The Royal Hideaway and The Royal (or Port Real,) and although I really liked both of those, Om is just unique, it is my little corner of privacy and peace of mind.
I have to say I slept like a baby...till noon everyday!!!!! The room I had was on the top floor, the room was simple, but clean. I personally love the way it always is nitetime ...even in the daytime!
When you walk out of the room into the hallway it´s softly lit with candles and Buddas and reds, a good vibe.
I love the bar and lounge, it has a really good feel to it. The music put me in a trance.
I will stay there again if I go back to Playa......or should I say WHEN I go back.
