Hotel Directions
Take Highway 307 south from the Cancun Airport to Akumal. Once you see the sign for Akumal, you will pass an overhead pedestrian bridge. You will then drive by the main entrance to Akumal. The first sign after Akumal will say RETORNO, where you need to make a U-TURN to the left, and then back to the main entrance to Akumal. ( RETORNO means to RETURN). Some are inter-connecting. All have air conditioning, ceiling fans, and mini refrigerators. Rate includes an American breakfast for single or double occupancy only.

Cannon House is truly a house and has the feel of a second home for everyone returning to it. The large terrace has a view of both the open ocean and the bay. It has one bedroom with a king size bed and a huge closet, and another with two twin beds; both with their own bathrooms. For your convenience, the fully equipped kitchen can be used as much as you want, or as little as you want, but it is there. There is also a daybed in the front room for kids. There is also a TV with DVD player, CD player and a BBQ. Located on the 2nd floor.

If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy great Snorkling look no further.
This Hotel is truly a Hidden Jewel in the Mexican Caribeean. It is about an hour drive from Cancun Airport and it is in a very hidden spot at the Maya Riviera.
The Hotel has no Televisions and by 10pm the Restaurant Closes and it is only you and the stars in the sky.
I was there with my wife and 2 Kids. This Hotel has 2 restaurants, Art Galleries, Dive Center, Spa, Pizzeria, Kids Club, Local Hand Crafters. Our Bungalow was just about 2 minutes walk from the water amd both of the Restaurants are right on the beach.
When snorkling has the opportunity to see a bunch of Sea Turtles living in a beutiful Coral Reef with a rich variety of marine life. Next door to the Hotel is the Akumal Ecological Center where you can you and learn everything you need about the Sea Turtles,,, there my daughter learned and told me that Akumal means: Place of Turtles.
We had a great time our Rooms had a small and rudimnentary Kitchenet meaning a Hot Plate, pots, pans, dishes and a wet bar that we did not use since the food at Lol-Ha was superb. I think that some people can go to the Super Chomak and cook if they wish: the Super Chomak was just steps from the Front Office.
If you enjoy a quiet place where you can truly RELAX give it a try.
