Take Hwy 307 south from the Cancun airport towards Tulum and Playa del Carmen. When you reach the first stoplight in Tulum, take a left towards the beach. You will come to a "T" intersection where you will want to take a right. Boca Paila is located approximately 26 kms. down on the left, right inside the Sian Ka'an biosphere.Hotel Description
Boca Paila Lodge...it really is more than just fishing. Located directly on the Caribbean beach south of Tulum within the Sian Ka'an Biosphere nature preserve. Boca Paila is situated in an ideal location for both fishing and observing nature. The lodge is located on the beach, but we are on a peninsula with a spectacular 30+ mile lagoon just steps behind the resort. You will have complete access to all of the natural wonders this magical place has to offer.
Beyond the excellent year round fishing, perfect climate, Mexican hospitality, privacy and exclusivity, Boca Paila is also the perfect retreat for your non-fishing spouse or companion to get away from it all. We offer all the best of the Caribbean and the natural wonders of the lagoon. Long walks on the beach, snorkeling and doing nothing are also a welcome diversion, relax and enjoy, unplug and unwind; the pace of life here will let you do all of the above or nothing at all. Come to Boca Paila and find out why we have so many returning guests!

Testimonials
If you are a novice with a spinning rod or world class fly fishing expert this place has it all. Terrific personable guides know enough English to put you on the fish and get you hooked up with plenty of them. Bonefish, permit and tarpon are plentiful and are eager to take a fly with the guides quiet poling and uncanny vision. You won't find a more relaxing place anywhere after the fishing is done. We go every year and have for 7 years. I just keeps getting better and better. Bring a camera and PLENTY of batteries and film! You'll be busy! Did I mention that Polly's food in awesome?!
