If you have 3 friends you could be on your way to the Mexican Caribbean! All YOU have to do is get 3 of your friends to become a Facebook Fan of the Turquoise Reef Group (or "like us") and you are registered for the Travel Prize Package of a 4 night Mexico Caribbean vacation for 2. Your Travel Prize Package includes a $500 airfare voucher, a credit towards transfers and 4 nights lodging at one of our fabulous small hotels or resorts!* Please visit our Yucatan hotels directory to view all the different unique possibilities. Choose from over 25 beautiful boutique hotels and resorts.
Here’s the deal:
If you’re already a fan (or "like") or become a fan of the Turquoise Reef Group just ask 3 friends who are not already fans to become fans (or "like"). Once your 3 friends have become new fans simply send us an email to 3amigos@mexicoholiday.com with your name and the names of your 3 friends. Once we have confirmed your friends are new fans of The Turquoise Reef Group Fan Page on Facebook your name goes into the big sombrero and we will send you a confirmation that you have been registered! Then at 12 noon Mountain Time on June 11, 2010 we will hold a drawing for the trip. We will also post the drawing video on our website and the Turquoise Reef TV Channel on YouTube! Of course your friends’ friends are also eligible as long as they have 3 other friends become a new fan, not including you.
**Shortly after we launched our contest Facebook decided to change "fans" to people that "like this". A "fan" and people that "like this" are the same thing for the purposes of this contest. Good luck and sorry for any confusion this may have caused.
Contest Entry Instructions:
Send an email to Turquoise Reef Group at 3amigos@mexicoholiday.com with the following information included:
1. Your full legal name (as it appears on your passport)
2. Your Facebook name
3. Your valid email address
4. The Facebook names of your 3 new fans on the Turquoise Reef Group Facebook Fan Page
Common Sense:
We would like to keep things simple here and avoid contest abuse or manipulation. This is not an automated process, each and every entry is reviewed by humans and the goal is to make this as fair as possible. Please do not abuse the process or seek angles to improve your chances beyond the rules. There is one entry per person period. If we discover that manipulation is being done you will be disqualified; this is supposed to be fun and our goal is to share the special places we have found in the many years we have been discovering Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula. Fine Print:
*No purchase necessary to enter contest. One entry per person. A copy of your valid passport matching your legal name is required to receive prize. The Travel Prize Package is non-transferable and does not represent a cash value. Entrants must be at least 18 years of age to win Travel Prize Package. Any costs or additions to the itinerary over and above the Travel Prize Package are the responsibility of the winner. Current Turquoise Reef Group Facebook Fans or registered contestants do NOT qualify as new fans under the terms of the contest, however if you are an existing fan you may recruit 3 new fans and get registered to win. Registration deadline is June 4, 2010. Travel Prize Package is valid for one year from the date of drawing or for travel before June 11, 2011. Travel Prize Package Winner MUST respond within 7 days of the drawing to claim their prize or they will be disqualified! Blackout dates for Travel Prize Package are December 16th, 2010 to January 15th, 2011. Travel Prize Package award is BASED ON DOUBLE OCCUPANCY AND AVAILABILITY. Your ground transportation from the Cancun Airport includes round-trip to Playa del Carmen, Akumal or Tulum provided exclusively by STP Caribe. You will receive a credit for the transfer service with STP Caribe up to $150.00. If transfer costs are greater than $150.00 the remaining cost will be the responsibility of the Traveler/Travel Prize Package Winner. If the cost of the transfer service is less than $150.00 your transfer cost will be paid in full, transfer voucher does not represent a cash value. Employees of the Turquoise Reef Group and immediate family are not eligible to win Travel Prize Package. Travel Prize Package MAY be applied to an existing reservation if all other conditions for the contest have been met.
All regular cancellation and change policies apply for the hotel or resort you choose, see www.mexicoholiday.com for each hotel’s policies. Travel Guard Insurance is included in the Travel Prize Package for amounts paid by the Turquoise Reef Group only. It is mandatory that Travel Guard be purchased by the Travel Prize Package Winner for any additional amount on the itinerary over and above what is included in the Prize Package (i.e. extra persons in the room). A waiver regarding the terms of Travel Guard refunds is required to be signed by the Travel Prize Package Winner. Airline ticket coverage is not mandatory but available upon request. As the Travel Prize Package Winner you are giving the Turquoise Reef Group Inc. permission to use your name and/or pictures for future advertising or promotions. The Turquoise Reef Group does not book airfare, but once we receive your fully paid flight confirmation and your hotel itinerary is confirmed you will be issued a $500 Airfare Voucher in the form of a check. In the case of guest cancellation, reason or proof of cancellation must be sent to the Turquoise Reef Group.

**Your friends MUST remain a fan of the Turquoise Reef Group Facebook Fan Page until at least the date of the drawing on June 11, 2010. If your name is drawn the Turquoise Reef Group and Mexicoholiday.com will verify the eligibility of your entry on the date of the drawing. If your friends are not active fans, on the date of the drawing, the Turquoise Reef Group and Mexicoholiday.com will redraw for a new eligible winner.
The Turquoise Reef Group reserves the right to revoke or modify the conditions of the Travel Prize Package if the entrant or winner violates the spirit or guidelines of the contest.
